Beautiful Sevilla

Today was a very full day in beautiful Sevilla. Our hotel is close to the city center, so we were able to walk to many places. We started at the Plaza de España. No one wanted to leave when our visit was over!

A short walk through Sevilla to the Alcázar.

We visited a new site for me called las Setas, a structure built over newly discovered Roman ruins.

Our day got even more interesting at our Flamenco lesson and show. I’ll share some videos when we get home. We definitely have some fantastic dancers and everyone at least tried! It was a cultural experience they’ll never forget!

We will be sad tomorrow to leave, but many students have told me today that they plan to come back! Tomorrow we are heading to Córdoba and then Madrid.

I don’t think we are going to wear jumpers tomorrow!

  2. In Sevilla, the 2 story building with all the arches and long reflecting pool, has a design above the lower arches that looks like lace in concrete…..or is it concrete? Whatever it is, it is stunning! Wish l were there!
